Update
This is a reminder of an upcoming security change that could break your integrations with Informatica DaaS APIs. This update was first announced on April 20, 2021.

To help ensure the security of your data, unencrypted HTTP access will be disabled for all DaaS endpoints on January 20, 2022 at 3:00 AM PST. Starting at that time all connections to DaaS endpoints must use HTTPS. All connection attempts using HTTP will be rejected. You should review the endpoint URLs you are using when calling DaaS services to make sure that they begin with HTTPS. For example:

https://ws.strikeiron.com/StrikeIron/EmailVerify7/EmailVerification
https://validator5.addressdoctor.com/Webservice5/v4/AddressValidation.asmx

If the above URLs started with http:// they would no longer be able to connect as of January 20th. The rest of the URL remains the same, you just need to replace http:// with https://. Similarly, the body of your API request remains the same - there is no need to make any changes there. Only the endpoint URL needs to be updated if not already using HTTPS.
