Informatica will perform a hardware upgrade affecting MDM services on the Canada Central 1 AWS POD. This change is necessary to continuously improve availability, scalability, and performance for all Informatica customers. 

What is the impact?
MDM services including UI and Runtime, will be unavailable for 4 hours. All IDMC services on this POD will experience 30 minutes of downtime during the 1st hour of this maintenance window, due to a parallel maintenance activity. No other services are affected by this maintenance.

How should customers prepare?
Customers should stop any running jobs before the maintenance and ensure other applications or APIs do not call MDM during the maintenance window. No other action is expected. If any jobs are running or initiated during the maintenance activity, they will fail, and have to be re-triggered afterwards.

Can Informatica exclude an organization from this maintenance? 
This hardware upgrade will be carried out across the entire POD and not by organization. Therefore, select organizations cannot be excluded from this maintenance activity.

Can the maintenance be rescheduled? 
Informatica teams across multiple functions evaluated possibilities thoroughly before selecting a downtime window, ensuring that customers have minimal to no business impact. Our preference is to ensure that in-region customers’ business needs are honored.
