We are excited to announce the release of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Fall ’20.

The Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Fall 2020 release offers incredible new capabilities that address key data challenges that businesses are facing today across all of our different products.

You can find a summary of the new capabilities in this document:

Runtime Continuity:
As of Spring ’20, the capability to support runtime continuity for Cloud Data Integration was introduced and will ensure that no jobs need to be stopped ahead of time, no blackout period applied and that any new jobs will start up during the upgrade period. What this means is that during the Informatica Cloud upgrade, only the Informatica Cloud UI will be unavailable for use.

CAI Process Server:
During the upgrade the process server will restart. For major releases, Application Integration requires that agents are restarted. Agents that are part of an agent group are restarted in a round-robin manner.

Additional IP Addresses:
We have added more nodes to our Package Dependency Manager for better scalability of connector and package download requests and hence request you to allow the additional IP addresses on your network firewall/proxy before Fall’20 release.

If you had chosen to allow the IICS domains: *.informaticacloud.com and *.informatica.com instead of IP addresses earlier or if you do not need to allow IP addresses on your firewall/proxy for outbound communication on port 443, please IGNORE this.

Package Dependency Manager:
